But if you start talking to me about how a drug enlightened you/you saw god/you saw the universe/you have any form of deeper understanding because you simply ingested a chemical compound, then I reserve the right to just falcon punch you in the face.

How does others becoming enlightened affect you? Is it because you don’t understand it? Never achieved it? I’d give the world to find other people who shared the same experience as I did.
Why? Because it makes for good conversation, it connects people because we both experienced something amazing and indescribable. You can’t talk about it to people who havent experienced it because it just won’t click with them. If these chemicals don’t catch your attention or make you think I feel bad for you.
I’d rather use these chemicals as meaningful tools to enrich my life than to waste them by tripping balls and not learning anything. But meh, to each his own.
